Six months for a repai

I have had a noise on my vehicle for the past six months and i have taken it several times and booked it in and yet the noise is still there. i have had to wait for courtesy cars, which took two months, parts and all i get is-SORRY MR W, WHEN CAN WE MAKE A BOOKING FOR YOUR CAR AGAIN. Six months has been long enough, petrol and time wasted... How many does it take to get one noise fixed. anyone know who else i should complain to for them to take me seriously?!
What else do i need to do to take this matter further?
