PG Glass
Non payment of Excess amount - Damage to vehicle

Cars & Transport

Due to unavailability of a spare part, the supplier, BMW FORSDICKS, Tygervalley required that my vehicle be parked at their facility until the spare part for replacement was available. It took the best of 5 months before the part became available. Throughout this waiting period I initiated all communication to determine progress. Not once was i informed before, on or after repair to verify commencement or completion of such repairs. My vehicle was returned with significant body damage inflicted either, before, during or after repairs were completed. I, at the earliest convenience took effort to report this to PG Glass and their sub sequent response to these were most disappointing. The initial excess amount, R 1100 was reduced. The estimate damage to my vehicle is R12000. This devalued the re sale amount of the vehicle and require full repairs to be effected. The insurer proceeded to settle the claim based on client signature obtained. They will be informed. Threats of legal action against me will be defended and contested when necessary. Please do what is right. Act according the relevant service level agreements.
