No parts available in RSA

After a short term insurance claim, I was informed that my car will be repaired by a BMW approved service provider. I have been waiting since the 16th of September for feedback from them. When I finally had enough, I called them to ask how long the car repairs will take, and was informed that the parts have been ordered but will only arrive on the 2nd of October, and it will take another 7 - 10 days to have the car repaired. I have to suffer in the mean time! I am due for a new car, but should I purchase another BMW if there are no parts available in the country???
