I got issued with a rental car after 10pm on the 21st August. The personnel at reception said I must do my own assessment in the morning. Now trusting that the service provider isnt dodgy, their reputation and assumed they do thorough assessment on car being issued and received, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that everything should be in order. On the afternoon I dropped off the car I was shown two bumps on the side of the car (they appeared as if someone poked the door with two fingers). I disputed the complaint as I dont recall any incident of negligence on my part. This I declared in writing on their receiving document. Instead of the service provider investigating this. They went on to issue an invoice. I was appalled to see the invoice containing the two bumps I disputed and further scratches on the side that were not even recorded on the day I handed over the car. I feel I am being treated and smell a sense of opportunism of the service provider. I always have have to call them to get feedback on their findings. At times I feel they are just shutting me down, telling me the personnel to investigate absent.
