I called Budget insurance on the 12th of November to claim for a damaged cell phone. They did not get back to meet regarding the assessment so I called them again on the 21st and was instructed to take my phone to my service provider for assessment. I mentioned to the claims consultant that I did not purchase the phone through a service provider but over seas but was told that would not be an issue. I then contacted my service provider who indicated that they could not assist with the claims assessment due to them not selling me the phone. I then called again today and was told somebody would contact me by 12:00 and they were sorry for the delay in processing the claim. I have not recieved any response as yet from the Insurance provider. Should this issue not be resolved in a timely manner I will be cancelling all insurance provided by Budget insurance.
