Shocking service and lack of communication

I regularly import goods from the UK that are sent via TNT - their courier, definitely not my courier of choice.
TNT have all the details of the goods on their system, so they have no need to confirm tarrif heading, duty, VAT etc etc.
This is an express service, so when the goods arrive they should be delivered the next day. My goods arrived on Tuesday. I phoned Wednesday, Thursday, Friday to find out what was happening to my parcel. On Friday afternoon, being sent from pillar to post, I was told that the goods were still in customs awaiting information from myself, that the goods were still being cleared, that the goods were in the warehouse, that the goods were on the truck to be delivered. Is it any wonder that I lost my cool! Then I was promised that the goods would defintiely be delivered Saturday morning. Needless to say the goods have still not arrived.
An this is only the saga of this delivery!
