Hi-Q
Dont Care About Consumer Protection Act

Cars & Transport

After the Hi Q Westville replacing wheel bearing debacle I finally tired of their repeated failed attempts at repairing my car and took it to a competent mechanic who sorted the problem out. I returned the faulty bearings to Hi Q with my claim for refund which has been ignored. In terms of the consumer protection act consumers have the right to return faulty, damaged or poor quality goods within six months. A customer has the right to a full refund, a replacement or repair. The choice is the customers to make not the supplier's. be aware that this branch think that they are above the law and avoid dealing there. I warned a friend against getting tyres there last Saturday. I am taking this matter further with the M.I.F. and the consumer column in the daily news.
