Dear Avis

I would like to bring to your attention the shocking experience that I have had during the last 4 months. My precious Toyota Hilux was from me. After it was recovered the panel beaters took more than three months to repair the vehicle. During that time I had the use of a hired bakkie from Avis. What a nightmare! When Nadeem was too lazy or too ignorant to get the extension voucher from the insurer, he would call me and threaten to bring the police and take back the hire bakkie. He even sent me an unjustified invoice for R20 000 for extra days and has STILL not returned my fuel deposit.

I need to tell you that I have been extremely unhappy with the customer service I have received from Avis, and in particular from Nadeem who has not been empathetic towards me and who has a poor understanding of customer service and client relations. He has displayed inefficiency and a lack of knowledge regarding procedures with third-party insurers.

He is very quick to make his problems the Clients problems. It appears as if he has no training in this field.

I will NOT be using Avis again because of this horrible experience, nor will my friends and family!!!
