Avis handing me over even though i have paid them

I paid avis the amounts i owe them for a car i hired and had an arrangement to pay them off which i did but they still handed me over to their rude and terrible debt collectors who just wont listen to what i tell them i have emailed avis a lot of times and nobody ever responds or gets back to me and i get harassed by their debt collectors who want me to pay even more money to them which i don't owe nobody ever has the decency at avis customer service department to give in any feedback or inform whats going on they just don't care I receive emails and smsses and phone calls for money i don't even owe. the customer care line they have is not effective when you have a complaint this is an ongoing matter that just never gets sorted out and im tired of it. im still waiting for somebody to call me to sort out matter and clear any judgements against me from their collectors
