I bought a car from them a few months ago and I am nearing my next service date so I checked my service record and saw that the car was serviced in 2012 with 17000km more than my odometer showed when I bought the car. I then contacted the dealership where the car was serviced and they confirmed that the car was serviced with that mileage on the clock. When I contacted Steven Johnson motors to hear what was going on they stated that they were not aware of this but they will investigate it. After no feedback and numerous calls to get feedback they came back to me and said that there was actually a 30000km difference and then I wanted my damages to be paid but Steven Johnson said I will not be reimbursed for my losses and as this might now also cause problems with my mechanical warranty due too a service being missed I feel it is unfair. The cars odometer was apparently replaced by the previous owner. Their negligence is now causing me problems and I would like to be reimbursed for buying a car under false pretenses that is protected under the consumers act. I am also still waiting for covers that was promised me the day I bought the car. Extremely bad service from them.
