My wife was very excited to get her Terios, but things didn't go well at all from the start. The spare wheel had a puncher fix on the side wall, the jack was too small to actually lift the car (even the replacement one was too small) and then at the second service we took it in for the mechanic was shocked to find that the air filter wasn't installed. The service station called Daihatsu head office and reported the issue. That was at the beginning of the year. I called them a few weeks ago for an update and was told I would be contacted back. Nothing. I had to pay R400 out of my own pocket for the new air filter that was meant to be replaced in the service plan.

Daihatsu cars are great, their service and client service is insanely bad. They have already lost a client because of all this, she went and bought another make of car after hearing this whole thing. Hollow promises are not a good way to build up my confidence in the brand. If you say you'll sort it out then sort it out and call the client back, it's not rocket science.
