1) I was not impressed with the quality of service received for the following reasons:

o Firstly the estimator who prepared the quotation for my vehicle to be sent over to Santam, made an error on the quotation by R30, 000. Apparently a part which was to cost R3, 000 was put onto the quotation as R30, 000. I don't know how this could happen, as I would assume they would input a code item which would pull the relevant cost from the system. Luckily the assessor from Santam noted this.

2) When I picked my car up and drove outside BMW there was an Check control error message on the vehicle, that the left headlamp was faulty. I went back immediately to BMW who called the workshop manager to look at the problem. He took the car back into the workshop and returned 30mins later to tell me the globe they used was faulty. My accident was on the left hand side and the left headlamp was replaced with a new headlamp and new xenon light. For this I have to doubt whether a new light was actually put in? I cannot tell. The car was signed off that quality control was happy and a certificate of completion issued. I can't understand how this could happen as how did their work pass through QC?
