Pathetic - Absolutely horrible service

I send a parcel from USA to South Africa with a 2-4 days service. It has now been almost two weeks and the parcel is still with TNT's clearing department. Now, I do understand if South African customs have a problem - but surely I should get proper feedback or the parcel should at least be returned to me.

I paid for delivery insurance - I also paid duties and taxes. But TNT 's service has been absolutely shocking.
When you phone - it is almost impossible to speak to an operator. Before I finish a sentence the operator put you through to the "Options Menu" - she is obviously not listening to what I have to say -and want to get rid of you as quick as possible. When I send emails - I actually get the "read receipts", but nobody respond to my emails.

The delay in delivery is unacceptable. I send another parcel with Fed-Ex and within 4 days it was delivered at the recipient in South Africa. That is good service. Do not ever use TNT for international deliveries!!! They are incompetent.
I am waiting for the return of my parcel to the USA. And if I do not receive my parcel within 4 days - I will raise a complaint again or raise an insurance claim against them.
