Still no refund

I hired a vehicle for the weekend and delivered it back on Sunday as agreed, I was promised my refund will reflect on my banking account within 24 hours, today is Thursday and still no refund. Dispite numerous calls made to the call centre and e-mails sent to what I assume is the accounts department, I only got a response stating there is a technical error. Another e-mail was sent again this morning and guess what still no refunds. The consultants do not even have the decency to tell the customer if the problem has been resolved or not or even respond back to the e-mails.
