My Toyota Aygo was taken in to CMH Toyota Melrose to get the radio fixed as it suddenly stopped working.
The car was returned to me twice without the radio being fixed, at first I was told the technician was not on site and was asked to book it in again, which I did. The second time that I took it in I was told that the parts to repair it were not available and needed to be ordered.
Later that day I saw dents around the radio, they looked as if a driver was used to try remove it.
I laid a complaint with the branch. Firstly I had to follow up to get feedback and when I finally did, this was the response I got from their Service Manager: "I spoke to the Technician who worked on your vehicle and called the Controller/foreman immediately before he worked on your vehicle. He pointed out that the damage was there before he started on the vehicle. We know how to remove radios without drivers not to damage the dashboard. Somebody else tried to take the radio out. We cannot be held responsible for the damage as it was not caused by us."
I would like to escalate this as it is a blatant and secondly my radio is still not working. I am appalled to say the least! BH18MZGP
