Toyota
Halfway Toyota South Coast robs its customer's

Cars & Transport

I booked my Fortuner in for service and was informed that the Diesel filter need to be changed and it did not fall under the Service Warrenty. I asked how much it cost and was told R650.00. I then decided to phone the Toyota Parts centre and was told that it cost R316.85. When I queried the differents with the Workshop manager I was told that the differents was labour. They were busy Servicing my Fortuner and it takes about 5 minutes to fit a new filter. they were already making a profit on the sale of the Filter and charged more than the Filter cost to fit it. R333.15 for labour for some thing that takes no more than 5 minutes and this is while the service was been done.
