Work doe on car without my permission n i mus pay!

I sent my car into Mccarthy VW on Monty Naicker street.
To my knowledge i was still under service plan as i had extended all my plans.
Marlon Naicker the service consultant booked the car in and done service without checking if i was still on the plan. he calls to say car is ready and asked how will i be paying!!!
i then expainded about the service paln and he called another vw to find out!
i asked him was he not suppose to call and tell me cost before doing work, he said he was but didnt!! now im left with a cost to pay because of them!!!
i then spoke to the manager Tony who was EXTREMELY RUDE to me and twisted the whole story and tried to make me out to be a!!
Marlon admitted the mistake was theirs and did not know what to do so took it to the manager!
The manager said its my fault and was no help at all
how was it my fault that they never check if its on the service plan and they never call about costs before they done the work??
