Imperial Car Sales
KIA Customer Service

Cars & Transport

We purchased our car a KIA Cerato 2012 in December 2012, everything went through fine and we where told that we would get a copy of the log book and not to worry about the license disk as it expires in May 2013 and by then we would receive a new license disk. we left happy thinking everything would be sorted out as we have purchased from other dealerships and never had a problem.

Last week (26th August) we were on our way back from our holiday in the Midlands and got pulled over by the traffic cops, who advised us that the car did not belong to us and that it was still registered to KIA Pinetown and has no CRW on it... they had a print out which said the car had been licensed in February 2013 (which is strange because we are driving around with an expired disk), we got a R500.00 fine

We went straight to Imperial where we purchased the vehicle and they looked so shocked and couldnt understand what has happened adn dont even have the license disk??? we where told that they would pay the fine and that they would contact us the next day 26th August and let us know whats happening, its now the 29th August and we have not heard from them.
