Assualted by petrol attendants

We stopped to put petrol early hours of the morning, we used a petrol card which had our old car reg on, and explained to the attendant that we waiting on the new one, and if its a problem we will pay cash! The 2 attendants, 1 who's name was Thomas, then started shouting at us and the one slapped my fianc?! Who had just come out the front shop, so he slapped him back! the attendant (Thomas) then tried to kick him in the face! at this time the other attendant came to take the car keys out the ignition of the car, when I got out and told him to give them back, I had been drinking, but still knew what was going on, he swore at me, so I smacked him, and he hit me back, at this time the whole situation was getting out of hand, and apparently there was no manager on duty! I went inside to go pay with my debit card, and the lady told me my card was wrong!?! I had to explain that it was a debit card and couldn't be wrong, she didn't know the difference between a petrol card and a debit card! I hope that management of this garage checks their ccv as this incident was totally unnecessary and the 2 petrol attendants are lucky that we didn't press charges of assault against them!
