UTI collected the American Shutters purchased from private seller, on 29/05/2013 at 15:17 from SELLER in CAPE TOWN and delivered it to me on and arrived to my house, EAST LONDON on 31/05/2013 at 12:50 (friday).

On my return home that FRIDAY evening I was shocked to note items damaged and missing. I took photographs of items as they were offloaded clearly noting damages DUE TO COURIER TREATMENT OF ITEMS! After unpacking it the shutters confirmed more damages and many parts missing of the runners & rollers. I EMAILED THEM DIRECTLY ON 3/06/2013 WHEN RETURNING TO WORK THAT MONDAY MORNING. HIGHLY DISGUSTED BY THE THE DAMAGES REFLECTING POOR TRANSPORTATION!!!

CLAIMS DEPARTMENT TOOK 1 MONTH TO INFORM ME THAT I COULD NOT CLAIM BECAUSE THE ACC WAS NOT IN MY NAME & NO INSURANCE.

MY ADVISE - IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD INSURANCE ON YOUR ITEMS - NEVER TRUST UTI TO DELIVERY IT SAFELY AND BE PREPARED TO THROW AWAY ALL THAT MONEY YOU PAID FOR THE ITEMS. THEY WILL NOT HONOUR ANY CLAIM AGAINST THEIR PURE NEGLECT UNLESS YOU HAVE PAID EXHORBATANT FEE TO ENSURE THEY DO THEIR JOB!! THEY DO NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR NEGLECT!!!
