I rented a car from Thrifty in May. In July I received an email notifying me of traffic fines that I had incurred while renting the car. The money was deducted from my card even after I spoke to Johamay Barnard, sent her proof of payment and later a receipt. She informed me that the money will be refunded within 2 weeks. This is the third week and I still have not been refunded. I called her today to request feedback regarding this matter only for her to tell me that I have to wait an additional 2 weeks. I am very unimpressed by her unprofessionalism and rudeness because she threatened to hang up on me by speaking in Afrikaans, a language I know very well mind you. I find it very unfair that money can be deducted from my account very quickly but when it has to be refunded, it is difficult. I am not willing to wait another 2 weeks because Johamay has a very bad attitude and does not know how to address customers. I would like this matter resolved today.
