My family rented a car from the Ermelo Office of Europcar in June 2013.
All was great until an exorbitant amount was credited to the credit card detail provided.
It was then that the duck-and-diving-dance started.
1) For some or other reason, the landline number for the Ermelo office are almost always busy
2) After my mom spoke to Tracey in June already and she promised to come back to her and never did, my mom asked me to follow up.
3) I eventually reached Tracey after trying to phone for 3 days.
4) Tracey was aware of the case - the reason for the wrong amount being credited was apparently that the amount quoted was different from the amount charged - she will follow up and it should be set right. However their systems are down... excuses excuses... it might take 2 weeks.
5) I phoned Tracey again - no, the case is at head office... she'll follow up, but it should be resolved in 2 days.
6) 2 days have come and gone, and no results yet.
Europcar - you have bad service, bad follow-up service and frankly - I would like to know whether you will be paying the interest on the money you have?
Could you please follow up on this matter?
