Booked BMW 523i in for a water leak and was told about the awesome service at BMW Melrose.
Dropped vehicle off at 7.45am and it got looked at approximately 12pm for the first time.
I was told the vehicle would need to be there a second day.
I was told the time was required to ensure the vehicle was correctly tested and ensuring that there would be no further leaks after it was collected. After being told by the Service Manager I should take my vehicle elsewhere if I was not happy I reluctantly left it in place.
Parts required only arrived by about 2.30 - 3pm the following day.
The vehicle was only ready for collection by about 10am on day 3.
The vehicle has now started to leak water again. Having left a message for Johan at 9am this morning by 5pm today I have had no response. Is this the professional service I should continue to expect from BMW? Perhaps next vehicle will be anything but a BMW. Hopefully this will make somebody in BMW interested in looking into booking in more vehicles than they can cope with and improving service.
