I took my car for service on the 11th July 2013 at Midrand and was informed that the service plan was terminated. I took it o Constantia the Saturday and they said the same thing. Upon investigation I was told Outsurance had reported my car a write-off (I don't insure with outsurance). I called VW SA to get more clarity and spoke to James who besides being rude to me, told me McCarthy Gezina were I bought my car was not a authorized VW dealer on their system and that they could have sold me defective car despite my telling him that the car had been serviced after I bought it and that I had also taken it to Constantia in December and the service plan was active.
I asked to speak to his manger and He said I couldn't and had to deal with outsurance directly despite me telling him outsurance wont give me any info as I dnt insure with them and I just needed them to give me details on why my car was written off whilst I had never been in an accident.
I called again and spoke to Karen this time and she said she'd get His manger to call me and help me with my problem and till today, NOTHING.
I am a McCarthy client and not outsurance and my car is now 3000km's over its service cause no-one
