My claim was approved and the repairs were authorised on 11 June 2013. I was happy with the service received from my insurance company: Innovation Maven regarding the time taken to assess and approve my claim. However, the nightmare began when my car was in for repairs with the authorised panel beaters selected by my insurance company. I have called everyday from 17 June.
At first I believed what I was told, which was that they are awaiting parts from Ford and my car would be ready in two weeks. The two weeks ended and I was told that they still awaiting parts and that I should give them another 2 weeks. I went to go see the car at and nothing had been done. I feel that these Leeson's Panelbeaters were quick to inform my insurance company of the cost of the repairs and thereafter didnt attend to getting the parts and assembling them on time. My encounter with them has been stressful as I have had to call them everyday to check the progree. I have been promised call backs on numerous occassions which has not been followed through and promises of my car being ready on a certain day of the week. It is upsetting that I have had to make this public because of the false promises!!
