POOR! service frm Avis in KNP 12/13 July 2013.Due to car trouble I was not mobile & needed wheels. Nobody was in @15.20pm Friday when I arrived @ the desk. I called the cell no provided & D said he was on his way to the airport & would only be back after 18.30 & in any event he had no cars available!? This on a weekend in school holidays! It meant I could not get to the next camp that night. My luxury accommodation there was paid, but due to above I had to forfeit it, lost R588 & instead spent the night with my 2 kids in a tiny 2-bed tent with no kitchen or bathroom! I left a note on D's desk requesting him to pls call me when he got back frm airport-he did not do so, seemed he never went back to the office after returning. I called early eve requesting a car for the next morning, @8.00am, a special arrangement, D said I could give him any time. The next morning @8.00 we were @ the empty desk. He did not answer his phone or reply to my 2 messages I left on cell & a sms I sent. He arrived casually at 8.50am saying he had to go to anther camp. He could have informed me of such, our departure now delayed. I still had to pay 1-way fee in ex of R600, & MY money I lost on accomm? Never Avis again!
