NO RESPONSE TO CLIENT'S LOSSES

On Friday 12 July at around 11:00 I returned my rental vehicle to AVIS at Cape Town International Airport. Unfortunately, I left my Nikon Camera inside the vehicle as I was in a rush to catch myy return flight to Pretoria. Since I realised that I had left the camera inside the vehicle I tried in vain to obtain a contact number for AVIS at CTIA or anywhere else. To no avail. The number I got ffor Cape Town Avis will never go through - giving an engage sign. I even tried to search for a central AVIS number - but to no avail.
As a large resort I send an email to which I still have no reply. I am a long standing client of Avis and this is the second time that I lost a valuable item. The previous occasion I got the same unsympathetic and uncaring treatment. This is extremely disappointing and I will seriously have to consider my future association with AVIS. It seems as if AVIS only cares to rent out vehicles. No afer sales or cleint care.
Can somebody please assist.
