Disgusting bathrooms & no Discovery Fuel claimback

We were on our way to Cape Town and as I am a Discovery Insure client, we did a search for BP fuel stations through navigation system which led us to North Paarl branch. What a shock! The building is falling apart and the station in the middle of nowhere... the children needed to use the toilet urgently as kids do on a long trip - we were perplexed about the reluctance of the attendant to give us the restroom key until we saw for ourselves the disgusting state of the bathroom! There were faeces smeared on the walls, the shower was shrouded in darkness and as the lights did not work, I put the torch on my phone on and wished I hadn't - there was a filthy mop lying there and a few flies made lazy circles around the floor, which was caked in something black and revolting (don't want to guess what it was but it looked gross!) The toilet itself was splattered with some disgusting material which looked like puke and the basin was unimaginably filthy. We were unable to claim back our fuel reward from Discovery as they did not have the relevant machine to do so. To say this was a stomach-clenching, revolting experience is putting it mildly...
