Three weeks for a bumper repai

I took my car for repairs at Renew-It on 13 June 2013 after a rear end collision. I was assured that I would have my vehicle back within 10 - 12 working days.

I have been making follow up calls every week to find out the progress, never have had a call until this morning.

Last week Friday Tony informed me that the car has finally left panel beating, and is now in spray painting, which should take approx. 4 days. I phoned again on Wednesday this week, only to be told that the car has been sent back to panel beating, as the damage was more than initially thought, and now an additional part needs to be ordered. Tony phoned me for the first time this morning (all other follow ups were done by me) to tell me the part should be there this afternoon, and then only it can be repaired.

How does a vehicle repair not get assessed properly? Why do spray painters pick up a problem that panel beaters miss? I have now been without a vehicle for just over 4 weeks, not able to travel when I need to etc. Renew-it has not offered me a courtesy vehicle, and have no customer support to speak of. They simply don't seem to care.
