I phoned Global Nissan Gezina this morning and spoke to Mr Allan McLean. My car is out of warrantee and I took it to a motor mechanic (OR AS CALLED BY MR MCLEAN - LET THE MOEGOES RESET YOUR SERVICE INDICATOR) that can fix it properly without all the extra charges. I asked Mr McLean just to explain to me how to reset the reminder and I really got a earful. I will definitely not going to buy any Nissan products again if this is how they treat a customer that bought a vehicle from them. I was told that I am taking the bread out of his mechanics mouths if he tells me how to reset the reminder. It will cost approximately R160.00. For R160.00 I am now going to tell all my friends and family and anybody that wants to listen what bad service / attitude they can expect from Nissan in general!!! Is that worth R160.00 to loose a lot of customers??? Why is there a do it yourself manual in the car if he doesn't want me to service the or reset the reminder??? BAD ATTITTUDE EQUALS BAD SERVICE!!! THIS IS GREAT AFTER SALES SERVICE!!!
