I wanted to send a 250g paperback book to Durban, and was quoted R425! I assumed for that kind of money I could expect next day delivery, but incredibly I was told that the earliest delivery would take place was Monday - 3 days later!!! Now I know that there is a weekend involved, but for heaven's sake - do Postnet think this appalling performance is acceptable? Not to me it isn't - I'm sending the parcel by another courier at 25% of the cost.
