Postnet/DHL overnight delivery not so over night

On Saturday, 02 November 2013 I phoned Postnet Raslouw to get a quote on a parcel to Windhoek. I was quoted R230.00 for a parcel under 700g with the specific dimensions.
As I arrived at the branch, I was charged double. When I queried it, I was told that I was quoted on a parcel to Cape Town as Ruan thought Windhoek was in Cape Town. I wasn't too bothered as anyone can make a mistake. But this was just the start of my problems.By Tuesday, the promised date of delivery, nothing arrived in Windhoek, followed-up with DHL on Wendnesday... nothing... followed-up yesterday, I was told that DHL had no idea where my parcel was nor did they have any information on the waybill I was given by Postnet. I was advised this morning that my parcel was found and on its way to Namibia, however the waybill number was changed without me being notified. No one communicated any delays or changes to me. I feel that I paid for something I did not get and expect reimbursement for this.
I spent hours on the phone, tracing something that was incorrect.
DHL advised that my contract was with Postnet and therefore they were supposed to service me and that they will have to refund me.
