Lack of customer service

Its appalling the services or lack thereof that dhl offered to me yesterday. I was promised a parcel will be delivered after 18h00 and additional costs will be incurred. This morning the recipient was told that the delivery was allegedly cancelled and she should pick the parcel up herself. Whats the point of requesting a courier service if one is expected to pick up their own parcel? The service was very underhanded as i was to, made to seem incompetent and deceived as a customer. Very disappointing service, because as we speak the parcel still isnt delivered after i requested a same day service and asked for a confirmation email from Hulisani Ndou who failed to do so, the last customer service agent who assured me my parcel will be delivered same day!
