Postnet steals from the poor?

Cars & Transport

I recently went Postnet in the Jacaranda centre. Upon arrival I had noticed a gentleman that needed to print a certain document from an e-mail he had received. The employee that was assisting him stated that he would have to pay for browsing the internet and for the printing of a document. Unfortunately he did not know how to get the document from his e-mail. The employee then said he would have to pay R15 for her assistance.

As he was not a wealthy man and struggling I offered my assistance so that he would not be charged an additional R15 to the price of printing and internet charges. After offering my assistance the employee raised her voice and in a rude manner stated I will not help the gentleman. I was shocked at her attitude and tone of voice! However this is apparently one of Postnets rules.

I understand an additional charge would be expected as it takes time away from an employee doing their job. However I am shocked that I was refused the chance to help a poor man in order that Postnet may make an extra R15. Is it a policy of Postnet to from the poor?
