Wrong diagnoses

I couldn't get my bike started so I went to Jonway and asked them to come and assist me because my scooter is my only transport. They diagnosed the problem to be the battery, so I had to buy a new battery @ R580!! Which is shocking!! That night my scooter still didn't want to start, so I took it to someone else, they found the REAL problem to be the velves in the engin! So I phoned and asked for a refund on the battery because it was never the. The problem, but they refused! They are the experts and should know?? So what now???
