Outdtshoorn Nissan
Nissan Outdtshoorn complaint on vehicle purchase

Cars & Transport

I recently bought a used Ford Bantam 1.8 Diesel through Nissan Oudtshoorn. We took delivery on the 26 April 2013.

On the Monday, 29 April my husband Andy reported that the bakkie needed wheel alignment, the glow plugs need to be replaced, the aircon switch is faulty, fan belt needs to be replaced and the canopy shock needs to be replaced. They agreed to pay for it on proof of an invoice. Which we did for the wheel alignment, fan belt and tensioner and canopy shock. They agreed to pay for the parts only and not the labour. I have asked for reasoning for this, but with no joy and me now having to pay for the labour. My husband said we could source the aircon swith and glow plugs but are now battling to find out what volts we need for the glow plugs. We did this in order to save costs, but at the moment are having a run around sourcing it.

When we bought the bakkie we noticed on the registration documents that it had a built up status, I have queried this and was told the previous owner had to have it scrapped as she kept receiving traffic fines from the previous owner and she did this to protect herself. I insisted on having an inspection done, which I took to have done
