Broken promise

We were a Hyundai family but no longer. At the 45 000 km service of our Hyundai i20 I was informed that the clutch needed replacing, but "we'll gladly do it under warranty" and "the clutch isn't going to pack up anytime soon but don't leave it too long in case the vehicle lets you down". Of course, I was thrilled as this was a very generous offer. However when I took the vehicle in for the clutch repair Hyundai Automotive SA reneged on the promise, even though I was able to prove that it had been made by the dealer. The problem with broken promises is that they are a bit like a bad smell - you move away.
And that's what we have done. We were going to purchase a Hyundai ix35 but have bought a Mitsubishi ASX CVT. Its early days but we are thrilled with the vehicle, and Mitsubishi Motors Sandton have been great.
