Volkswagen
WARNING TO ALL VW OWNERS

Cars & Transport

Good day

i would like to give all Vw owners in the Rustenburg and Klerksdorp areas, or for more general reference all Vw owners based in or around a mining area

i have a new Vw polo 1.6tdi, this cars cambelt is to be replace on 120 000km according to the service plan and booklets.

how ever mine has packed up on 95 000km, Vw south africa inform me this is due to the area i live in, so even if u have a warranty they would not repair this under warranty, thus it will cost you over R10 000 to fix, once the cambelt breaks there is a good chance that valves have bent so parts allone will be about R7500 not including labour.

so in otherwords you should not buy any Vw if you stay in a mining area, IT WILL COST YOU MONEY FROM YOUR POCKET, Vw south africa reufuse to assist me on this,

they have got poor quality parts that do not last the respected interval changes and do not take the time to make sure there clients are happy and on the road, iv always baught Vw (3 polo's and 1 Jetta) this will be the last one i buy, since i am a rep and need to have a car i can rely on.
