Car Service City
VERY disappointing - trying to make money off me

Good Morning,

My Car started overheating, I stopped at car service City, they wanted to quote me R4000 only to open the engine cap to see why it could be overheating. This was after I took the one staff member to drive with me and let him see what the car is doing, and the noise it is making after over heating. I knew there was something fishy going on, so I phoned a friend to come and tow me away to Pretoria. He opened the engine cap at his home in 5 minutes, discovered a water pipe has a hole in, we replaced it. It did not even cost more than R100 and on top of that there was no hard labor involved. If it took 30 minutes in total to resolve it would have been a lot. I can't see why Car Service City wanted to charge me R4000 only TOO SEE what could be wrong. I really feel they tried to make easy money off me. I will never go to Car Service City again, very disappointing.
