Unfriendly, terrible customer service

This is not the first incident of this nature.

There was one check out counter open today. I went and stood in line and it looked to me like Ursula (a regular staff member) was busy training the lady at the register. Ursula left and went to the register right next to it, I assumed she was coming back, only to discover that she she was open and helping clients that had now also arrived at the registers. She initially ignored me when I asked her why she did not tell me her register was open and when she did reply she stated that I could have seen she was open. I told her that such incidents have happened in the past and she immediately became belligerent and rude. She laughed at my complaint and started complaining to the customer in front of her about me. When I asked her what she had to say she continued to berate me. The floor manager, Riandi did not intervene.

We live 120km away from other stores and I feel that certain staff members have adopted the attitude that they can treat the customers as they choose because we have nowhere else to go.

I wonder if OK really cares how poorly it's customers are being treated?
