Unable to use SMILE foundation vouchers

I recently purchased the SMILE foundation vouchers on the Daddy's Deal website. I visited my nearest Kauai in Virgin Active at Balfour Park and was told I could not redeem the vouchers as the server was down and they had no internet connectivity. I asked if I could still get my smoothies and if the cashier could redeem the vouchers at a later stage when they were back online. I was told No, she could not do so and suggested I visit Kauai in Sandton if I wanted to redeem them. I attempted again to use my vouchers this evening, and was told the very same thing.. They had no internet connectivity and therefore I could not redeem my vouchers. What a waste, considering the vouchers are "supposedly" for a good cause! I find it hard to believe that a store can be left for 2 days without internet connectivity in this day and age.. And that no alternative solution can be made in order for me to redeem my vouchers before they expire on 30 April 2013. I bought the vouchers so I could purchase my smoothies after gym, not to be told to make a trip all the way to Sandton to redeem them. I'll seriously re-consider helping/ supporting another cause like this again when this is the service you get!
