Ocean Basket
Constant harassment by Ocean Basket waiters

I live in the West Rand, so I visit Clearwater Mall a couple of times a week.
I however, have a very serious problem with the WAITERS at the Clearwater Ocean Basket; which is at the entrance I prefer to park at the mall. Each time I pass there, the waiters would whistle & make inappropriate comments. I have tried to ignore them, but has become increasingly unbearable. I have also found out from other women that they suffer the same disrespect from these waiters. Not only is this behavior unprofessional for Ocean Basket, it has definitely made me decide to never eat at that restaurant, it is also VERY disrespectful and demeaning for me as a woman.
Yesterday, I even walked into the restaurant & reported the particular waiter that had made comments as I walked past; the manage called him and the waiter said he sees nothing wrong with his behavior. This is unacceptable!!
As a woman, I want to feel safe wherever I go. No wonder the rate of is so high in South Africa, when men disrepect woman so openly, even at their place of work. I feel that ALL the male waiters at this restaurant should be called and strongly reprimanded! THIS MUST STOP!! They have already lost a client in me.
