I made a booking for 6 people for the 21/03 for 8PM. At about 4:30PM on the 21/03 i called through and moved the booking to 8:30PM (same day). I have proof via cellphone records that i called through to change my booking time.
At 8:25PM i was called by a woman a tthe restaurant (who did not identify herself), to ask whether i was still pitching up for the booking. I replied that we were 5 min away. She then said that the kitchen closes at 9, and i would not have much time to place our food order. I decided to cancel my booking for that night. I then called through on Saturday, 23/03 to arrange a booking for dinner.
What followed was the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I spoke to Pierre (whom i assume is the manager or owner of this establishment), andhe basically lambasted me for not pitching up at 8 PM for my original booking on the 21/03. It was obvious that whomever answered the phone on the evening when i changed my booking was totally incompetent and did not record the changes.
Pierre also called me a, as he disputed that fact that i was told that the kitchen closes at 9, even though i was CLEARLY TOLD this by the woman who called me on the night.
