San Marco
Terrible all round

We had bfast at san marco at the waterfront a few months ago as it's always packed full of tourists. And hey if tourists like it, surely it must be brilliant hey? What do us plain SA folks know about good food, after watching international food channel (Dinners, drive-in's and dives).

I had a burger which was R70 and dumbstruck that it was R25 extra for chips but hey "Today" I am a posh snob, money is no object. My girlfriend had a turkey sandwich that was R65 because hey that's murricans other staple food and i'll be damned if today we dont get a taste for it today!

Anyway the burger was mediocre at best, i've had better burgers at spur before they became a fast food joint.
The turkey sandwich was turkey flavoured polony and very dry, yes that horrible cold meats you buy at pick&pay end of the month time.

The atmoshere was ok, it's nice to sit outside in the morning sun pretending to be a snob with a view of almost nothing.
We were pleasently surprised to find out bill came to just over R100, only to realize that they gave us the wrong bill (all that guy had was an egg and coffee). Without thought we left the cash on the table and left but still felt like we were cheated!
