Waiters bandage left on my table

Ordered sushi and pasta at the sushi bar. Noticed waiter had a dirty bandage wrapped around his right hand. After finishing my sushi my waiter removed my plate. I noticed minutes later a gauze ball left right where my plate had been. My waiter was seating more people in my area when i saw it. I didn't want to make a scene I got the waiters attention and motioned for him to come over urgently. He gave me the be right there nod and continued to seat the new guests. I kept trying to get his attention while he got drink orders, served drinks and took orders and disappeared each time to the kitchen. The whole time staring at gauze. I got up and went to the host. I told him what had happened and that I did not want to wait for the pasta I had lost my appetite. He gave a feeble "Oh sorry" and turned to his computer. My waiter came over as i was explaining it and then promptly disappeared again. Waiter reapears whispers to the host and then the host tells me your pasta is ready are you sure you don't want it? I said absolutely not. He then tallies my ticket minus the pasta and says " I won't charge you for the pasta even tho it's done. I paid and left disgusted.
