Appauling attitude

On the 19 of March 2013 upon my return to Johannesburg from Cape Town, my colleagues and I decided to go to The Keg at OR Tambo to relax after a long conference. We were enjoying our drinks and then one of the waitresses shouted out loud Magosha which means prostitute to the other waitress. Naturally we laughed it off and then carried on enjoying our drinks. A few minutes later the waitress named Winnie spoke at the top of her voice asking why are we lauhing. She stated we had no right to listen to her conversation. My response was that if she is speaking publicly then she cannot control the customers reaction. For a person who was supposed to be serving customers she has no customer relation. She continued with her rudeness until the manager was alerted and at this stage I thought something would be done. Unfortunately the manager brushed it off and we decided to leave. When I approached her as we are about to leave just to question her on her appauling behavior she said she will not apologise and who do I think I am all I know is to push luggage. I am disappointed and feel the treatment was not fitting.
