Great food, poor service

We love the food at this restaurant, and visit at least once a fortnight, but the service has been getting consistently worse. There used to be a manager at one stage, but it appears there is no longer one. Staff hang about at the bar, chatting loudly, ignoring customers. Our meal took over an hour to arrive last saturday, during which time we didn't see our waitress at all. It is a pity that such great food is being ruined by very hit-and-miss service.
