My husband and I for the past 2 weekends have enjoyed dining at Beluga up until yesterday afternoon. We arrived at around 12.20pm, we approached the adolscent girl at the enterance who asked if we had made a reservation, as we requested to be seated outside. When we advised that no reservation was made, as we previously didnt need to, especially on a Sunday afternoon, she just advised that she couldnt assist. We would have even been happy, if she suggested that we wait at the bar, and have a cocktail while waiting for a table to become available, however no suggestion of the sort was made and she was happy to watch us walk away. All this shows to me, who works in the customer service industry, is that management are not properly equipping their staff with the skills that they require, to retain clients. Word of mouth is the best form of marketing... remember that...
