Rusty Hook: The most rusty restaurant ever

On the 14-02-2013, I had reservations at the Rusty Hook for 19h00. Upon arrival I asked whether there was a smoking table available as I was never asked if I would prefer smoking or non-smoking when booking, and we were led to a table on the outside deck. 45 minutes later, we were asked to move tables as the table was reserved, but with no reservation plaque as the other reserved tables had on. So we had to move to a non-smoking section, instead of a smoking table being organized for us.

We ordered prawn cocktails for starters, myself a springbok carpaccio, and my girlfriend the smoked salmon (which was not smoked, but rather raw) salad for entree.

For mains both of us ordered the Fillet Medallions, myself medium-well done, and girlfriend medium-rare. I cut into my steak (which was rump, not fillet), and it smelt like someone had passed wind next to me. The steak was considered "blue" as it was unbelievably raw, tough as car-tires, and the first bite tasted like a. I complained to the manager, then I was offered the sole, which I declined, and that's the last I saw of him.

I ended up paying for oysters, which we did not have, and the fillet was not reversed from the bill.
