Very Bad Service at Sun Coast

On 2 Jan at about 22:30, my girlfriend and I went to News Cafe Sun Coast. At the door there is a sign that says "Please wait to be seated", there were 2 ushers standing at the sign. Both did not acknowledge or even greet us. I asked for a table for 2 in the non-smoking section. The female usher said that non-smoking was full, we can look for a table in the smoking section. Now, as far as I know, an usher is supposed to LEAD you to a table, she left us to look for our own table. When we walked into the non-smoking section, there were FOUR empty tables. Nobody came to our table to at least give us menus, even trying to get their attention didn't work. The 4 people sitting next to us, also waiting to be served, walked out. After waiting for 10 min, I managed to get the attention of a young Indian guy that seemed to be the supervisor. I explained that we've been waiting for the past 10 min and nobody has served us, he blatantly told me that he is not a waiter, I told him that I did not say he was a waiter, all I'm asking is for someone to serve us. It was an absolute bad experience from the time we walked in. The Sun Coast branch is really tarnishing News Cafe's name and reputation.
